To obtain a Master’s degree, the student must have completed, within the available time, 46 credits distributed across subjects, complementary activities and approval exams, as follows:
· Mandatory Subjects: 06 credits.
· Elective Subjects: 09 credits.
· Teaching Internship: 02 credits.
· Dissertation Seminar: 02 credits.
· Advanced Seminars: 02 credits (The student will enroll in two Advanced Seminars offered at the Master’s level).
· Special Activities: 03 credits.
· Foreign language proficiency exam.
· Qualification exam.
· Dissertation defense: 22 credits.

Curricular structure of the Doctorate course
To obtain a Doctorate degree, the student must have completed, within the permitted period, 59 credits distributed across subjects, complementary activities and approval exams, as follows:
· Mandatory Subjects: 06 credits.
· Elective Subjects: 09 credits.
· Teaching Internship: 04 credits.
· Thesis Seminar: 04 credits.
· Advanced Seminars: 06 credits. (The student will enroll in two Advanced Seminars offered at the Doctorate level)
· Special Activities: 06 credits.
· Qualification exam.
· Thesis Defense: 24 credits.
Note: Advanced Seminars related to the four Research Lines of the Program must be offered both at the Master’s and Doctorate levels. It is mandatory for the student to attend at least two seminars. Seminar offers must be related to the Research Lines’ respective needs and can be proposed. Among others, the dissemination of research by visiting researchers is a valid reason for proposal.
