Master and Doctorate in Regional Development and Agribusiness

 

PRESENTATION


The Applied Social Sciences Center (CCSA) at UNIOESTE/Toledo Campus offers the Postgraduate Program in Regional Development and Agribusiness (PGDRA), with a focus on Regional Development and Agribusiness. The interested candidate must be undergraduate (for the master's degree) in full courses in the interest areas of 

PGDRA (Economics, Administration, Accounting, Law, Bilingual Executive Secretariat, Social Service, Architecture, Geography, History, etc.) and graduated (with master's degree recognized by CAPES) for the PhD program.

The PGDRA student is engaged on a full-time basis under the supervision of a counselor. The study plan is based on the student's previous preparation, in accordance with his / her training interest and Program objectives.




RESEARCH AREAS


1. PRODUCTIVE CHAINS
It addresses topics related to the economics and management of agro-industrial businesses, which highlight issues such as agro-industrial organization, competition, finance, logistics, foreign trade, sectoral policies, food quality and safety and technological innovations;

2. REGIONAL ECONOMY AND SOCIETY
It addresses the theory, models and methods of urban and regional economics, as well as the analysis of natural and environmental resources, and the spatial distribution of activities within regions; It also highlights issues related to socio-territorial, cultural, economic and public policy processes for regional development.
